Mallikarjun Kharge’s reaction on Rajkot fire incidents: Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has expressed grief over the death of 22 people in a massive fire accident in Rajkot, Gujarat. He also said on Saturday (May 25, 2024) that accountability should be fixed in this case as soon as possible and the culprits need to be given the harshest punishment.
He also alleged that such incidents are happening due to the lax attitude of the state government. At least 27 people, including children, died and three others were injured in a massive fire in a ‘gaming zone’ in Rajkot city on Saturday evening.

Kharge further said that I request the Congress workers to provide all possible help to the people affected by the accident so that the victims do not face any problem in treatment and compensation etc.
State government accused of negligence
Kharge alleged that due to the lax attitude of the Gujarat government, such accidents keep happening every now and then and innocent people lose their lives. We demand from the government that accountability in the accident should be fixed as soon as possible and the culprits should get the harshest punishment.
